This short article summarizes the summer 2013 STEM-X Program at Towson University in Baltimore, in which fifty high school students from around the country worked with blind and sighted STEM professionals in a hands-on, collaborative manner to problem-solve challenges in a chosen focus discipline: chemistry, computer science, engineering, robotics, and space science.
